Newborn photography is one of our favourite parts of what we do. Our sessions are designed to feel calm, safe, and comfortable for both baby and parents from beginning to end.
Our Ottawa studio is kept warm and cozy for newborn sessions, with soothing sounds and plenty of time for feeding, comforting, and settling your baby throughout the session.
We provide wraps, props, blankets, and simple styling options while creating a relaxed experience that feels easy and enjoyable for new parents.

When to book
One of the most common questions parents ask is when they should schedule newborn photos. The best time to come in for your newborn photography session is between baby’s first two to three weeks of life. At this stage, newborns are still very cuddly and sleepy, allowing for those soft, sleepy newborn poses many parents love.
Newborn sessions are usually photographed within the first 4–21 days after birth. We recommend booking your session during pregnancy to ensure availability around your due date. If your baby is older than the typical newborn stage, that is completely okay. Beautiful newborn and baby portraits are still possible, and we are always happy to discuss the best options for your family.
Studio & In-Home Newborn Sessions
Newborn sessions can take place in our cozy Ottawa-area studio in Stittsville and Kanata area or in the comfort of your home. Our studio includes everything needed for newborn, baby, and family photos.
In-home sessions are available for an additional fee. We provide a variety of wraps, headbands, blankets, backdrops, and props to create a beautiful and personalized session.

Before your session, we’ll review everything with you by phone or email, including what to bring, what to wear, feeding recommendations, and how to prepare for the session day.
